Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Control Method on Tornado Detector with SMS Gateway

Indonesia's tropical climate causes many possible natural disasters to occur, one of which is a tornado. Extreme weather conditions as a result of globalization are one of the causes of various disasters, especially hurricanes. Tornado is a wind that rotates out of the Cumulonimbus clouds with a speed of more than 34.8 knots or 64.4 km/hour in a fairly short time. In this detection process, the DHT22 sensor is used as a temperature and humidity reader in the surrounding environment, as well as an anemometer as a wind speed reader. The results of the sensor readings will then be transmitted via the SMS Gateway service. The tool used to use the SMS gateway service is the SIM900A module. The results of the detection will be in the form of the presence or absence of a tornado. These conditions are divided into 3, namely safe, alert, and alert. Meanwhile, the SMS gateway service itself will work when the detector decides the alert and/or standby condition.
